This Cookie Notice explains how OwnerTrack uses cookies and similar technologies on the ownertrack.loan website, the application at my.ownertrack.loan, and the borrower portal. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
In short: the application and borrower portal use only the cookies they need to keep you signed in and secure. The marketing website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share information for targeted advertising.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember you between pages and visits. Some cookies are set by the site you are visiting ("first-party" cookies); others are set by another company that provides a service to that site ("third-party" cookies). Similar technologies include browser local storage and small pieces of code that report how a page is used.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (application and borrower portal)
These cookies keep you signed in, remember your session, and protect against request forgery and other attacks. The application and portal cannot work without them, so they cannot be turned off in the Service. They are first-party and are not used for analytics or advertising.
Website functionality (ownertrack.loan)
Our marketing website is hosted on a website platform that may set cookies needed to deliver pages, load them quickly, remember basic preferences, and operate the contact form.
Analytics (ownertrack.loan only)
The marketing website uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to measure how many people visit, which pages they view, and how they arrived. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (such as cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) and receives information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed. We use this only to understand and improve the website. We have not enabled Google Analytics advertising features. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or advertising tool inside the application at my.ownertrack.loan or the borrower portal.
What we do not do
• We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
• We do not allow third parties to collect information on our sites for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.
• We do not sell personal information collected through cookies.
Your choices
Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the application or the borrower portal.
Google Analytics opt-out. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no further action is required.
Do Not Track. Browsers' "Do Not Track" setting has no common standard, so we respond to Global Privacy Control signals instead, as described above.
Changes
We will update this notice if we change the cookies we use. The effective date above shows when it was last updated.
